In the following, we explain which data we use at what time and for what purpose. Our concern is that you can understand the functioning of our website and by what means we ensure the protection of your personal data that is important to us. We only use your personal data if we have your consent or legal permission.

C. Provision of the website and creation of log files

1) Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

The following data is collected:

• Information about the browser type and version used
• The user’s operating system
• The IP address of the user
• Date and time of access
• Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website
• Websites accessed by the user’s system via our website

 
This data is stored in the log files of our system. A storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

2) Purpose of data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user’s computer. For this purpose, the IP address of the user must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The storage in log files takes place to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

3) Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

4) Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Further storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

5) Possibility of objection and removal

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection on the part of the user.

D. Use of cookies

1) Description and scope of data processing

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on the user’s computer system. When a user accesses a website, a cookie may be stored on the user’s operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that contains a unique when the website is called up again.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can be identified even after a page change.

Log-in information is stored and transmitted to the cookies.

The user data collected in this way is pseudonymised by technical precautions. Therefore, an assignment of the data to the calling user is no longer possible. The data is not stored together with other personal data of the users.

2) Purpose of data processing

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For this, it is necessary that the browser is recognized even after a page change.

4) Duration of storage, possibility of objection and removal

Cookies werden auf dem Rechner des Nutzers gespeichert und von diesem an unsere Seite übermittelt. Daher haben Sie als Nutzer auch die volle Kontrolle über die Verwendung von Cookies. Durch eine Änderung der Einstellungen in Ihrem Internetbrowser können Sie die Übertragung von Cookies deaktivieren oder einschränken. Bereits gespeicherte Cookies können jederzeit gelöscht werden. Dies kann auch automatisiert erfolgen. Werden Cookies für unsere Webseite deaktiviert, können möglicherweise nicht mehr alle Funktionen der Webseite vollumfänglich genutzt werden.

Falls Sie einen Safari-Browser ab Version 12.1 verwenden, werden Cookies nach sieben Tagen automatisch gelöscht. Dies betrifft auch Opt-Out-Cookies, die zur Verhinderung von Trackingmaßnahmen gesetzt werden.

E. Hosting

Die Webseite wird auf Servern von einem durch uns beauftragten Dienstleister gehostet.

Unser Dienstleister ist knowhost.

Die Server erheben und speichern automatisch Informationen in sogenannten Server-Log-Dateien, die Ihr Browser beim Besuch der Webseite automatisch übermittelt. Die gespeicherten Informationen sind:

• Browsertyp und Browserversion
• Verwendetes Betriebssystem
• Referrer URL
• Hostname des zugreifenden Rechners
• Datum und Uhrzeit der Serveranfrage
• IP-Adresse

 
Eine Zusammenführung dieser Daten mit anderen Datenquellen wird nicht vorgenommen. Die Erfassung dieser Daten erfolgt auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Der Webseitenbetreiber hat ein berechtigtes Interesse an der technisch fehlerfreien Darstellung und der Optimierung seiner Webseite – hierzu müssen die Server-Log-Files erfasst werden.

Der Standort des Servers der Webseite liegt geografisch in der Europäischen Union (EU) oder dem Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum (EWR).

F. Rechte der betroffenen Person

Nach der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung stehen Ihnen folgende Rechte zu:

• Werden Ihre personenbezogenen Daten verarbeitet, so haben Sie das Recht Auskunft seitens des Verantwortlichen über die zu Ihrer Person gespeicherten Daten zu erhalten (Art. 15 DS-GVO).
• Sollten unrichtige personenbezogene Daten verarbeitet werden, steht Ihnen ein Recht auf Berichtigung zu (Art. 16 DS-GVO).
• Liegen die gesetzlichen Voraussetzungen vor, so können Sie die Löschung oder Einschränkung der Verarbeitung verlangen (Artt. 17, 18 DS-GVO).
• Wenn Sie in die Datenverarbeitung eingewilligt haben oder ein Vertrag zur Datenverarbeitung besteht und die Datenverarbeitung mithilfe automatisierter Verfahren durchgeführt wird, steht Ihnen gegebenenfalls ein Recht auf Datenübertragbarkeit zu (Art. 20 DS-GVO).
• Weiterhin besteht ein Beschwerderecht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde (Art. 77 DS-GVO), wenn Sie der Auffassung sind, dass wir bei der Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten datenschutzrechtliche Vorschriften nicht beachtet haben.
• Eine Beschwerde kann bei dem zuständigen Landesbeauftragten für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit eingereicht werden.
• Soweit die gesetzlichen Voraussetzungen des Art. 21 DS-GVO vorliegen, können Sie gegen die Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten, welche auf das berechtigte Interesse der ARQIS und Art. 6 Abs. 1 S.1 lit. f DS-GVO gestützt wurde, Widerspruch einlegen.
